Race car driver and President of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway who was killed in a plane crash in 1954. Desirable vintage glossy 10 x 8 photo of Shaw sitting in his car at the Indianapolis Speedway in 1940, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To M. Risleg, with all good wishes, Wilbur Shaw.” Scattered creases and surface marks, mainly to borders and background, otherwise fine condition.
